Amplify

Amplify is the psychedelic trance project of Andrew Olavarrieta, a Mexican-British producer, DJ and one half of the psychedelic trance duo Delysid, alongside Hypnoise.

Active within psychedelic music since 1998, Amplify has developed a distinctive approach to full-on psytrance, combining powerful grooves, hypnotic atmospheres, psychedelic detail and a strong shamanic influence. His sound is deeply rooted in the dancefloor while constantly evolving through new production techniques, textures and ideas.

Over more than two decades, Amplify has built an extensive international career, performing across Europe, Asia, North and South America and Australia, and becoming a familiar presence within the global psychedelic trance circuit.

His performances have reached major festivals including Universo Paralello (Brazil), Ozora Festival (Hungary), Hilltop (India), Full Moon Festival (Germany), Atmosphere (Mexico), Insomnia Festival (Portugal), Own Spirit Festival (Spain), Tribal Gathering (Panama), Eclipse Festival (USA), Arkana Festival (Peru) and Sola Luna (Thailand).

Beyond the stage, Andrew is also part of the management and creative direction of Maharetta Records, working alongside Hypnoise to develop the label’s sound, artists and international presence.

After more than 25 years connected to psychedelic music, Amplify continues to move forward with the same philosophy that has defined the project from the beginning: creating powerful, uncompromising psychedelic trance designed for deep dancefloor experiences.
